Role summary
Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to promote primary care products in a five-county Alabama territory. The role involves delivering clinical information to healthcare providers, executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and driving product utilization.

- Three or more years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience preferred
- Proven sales experience in specialty areas such as cardiology, nephrology, oncology, or rheumatology preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge communication and customer relationship management skills
- Ability to navigate complex payer environments and reimbursement processes
What you'll be doing
- Communicate clinical product knowledge and benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate product utilization.
- Execute branded sales messaging and conduct medical educational programs to achieve territory sales targets.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, customize interactions based on needs, and resolve reimbursement issues.
- Analyze sales activities and territory performance, providing feedback to District Manager on strategy effectiveness.
- Demonstrate commitment to patient impact while upholding Amgen values and collaborating with colleagues.
