Role summary
Amgen seeks a SAP specialist architect to design and implement Plan to Stock solutions across manufacturing and distribution sites. - Hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM, IM, MRP, sub-contracting, and stock transfer configuration
- Deep knowledge of intra and advanced intercompany stock transfers and sub-contract manufacturing
- Ability to design solutions, debug issues, and perform root cause analysis based on business requirements
- SAP Certified Application Associate in S/4HANA Materials Management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience creating functional specifications, test cases, and compliance documentation
What you'll be doing
- Design, configure, and optimize Plan to Stock processes including plant setup, MRP, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and inventory management in SAP S/4HANA
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and non-SAP systems such as Kinaxis, MES, LIMS, Ariba, and warehouse management
- Conduct architectural reviews to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies aligned with pharmaceutical standards
- Oversee creation of critical documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations throughout implementation lifecycle
- Mentor team members and participate in Agile frameworks to support effective project execution and post-implementation sustainability
