Role summary
Amgen seeks an SAP architect to design and implement S/4HANA solutions for accounts payable and invoice-to-settle operations. The role involves collaborating with business partners, conducting architectural reviews, and guiding the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA within a global technology team.
What they're looking for
- Hands-on experience configuring SAP S/4HANA accounts payable and Vendor Invoice Management solutions
- Demonstrable knowledge of procure-to-pay and accounting business processes
- Experience with disbursement processes including SAP payment processing and payment factory
- Understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards
- Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years SAP experience, or Master's with 4-6 years, or Doctorate with 1 year
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with ability to work in global virtual teams
- Experience in agile environments and familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Design and architect S/4HANA Vendor Invoice Management solutions with third-party system integration
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with stakeholders
- Ensure system configuration aligns with business objectives and industry best practices
- Conduct architectural reviews and risk assessments with mitigation recommendations
- Participate in sprint planning and SAFe ceremonies to deliver and sustain S/4HANA ecosystem
