What you'll be doing
- Maintain and improve EHS systems, processes, and procedures; proactively implement new regulatory requirements
- Manage incident reporting, hazard identification, risk registers, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and training coordination; oversee contractor safety inductions and permits
- Serve as primary contact for site staff, regulatory bodies, and public on EHS matters
- Report routine EHS metrics to corporate and regulatory bodies; manage chemical database and waste systems
