Role summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Sourcing & Transformation Project Lead to orchestrate complex, cross-functional supply chain and product development projects. The role manages end-to-end sourcing initiatives from strategy through implementation, coordinating Procurement, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and supplier partners to deliver cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Strong commercial acumen and total-cost-of-ownership analytical capability
Ability to influence and partner effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers

What you'll be doing

Lead cross-functional project teams across Procurement, R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and suppliers
Develop and own end-to-end sourcing strategies aligned with business, product and manufacturing objectives
Drive supplier selection, qualification, transitions and ramp-up from feasibility through volume delivery
Manage project governance including milestone reviews, KPI tracking, risk management and executive reporting
Drive cost reduction through Design-to-Cost/Value initiatives and monitor COGS performance against targets
