Role summary
Senior Tax Analyst position in Illumina's India Tax Center of Excellence, reporting to the Tax Manager. Responsible for APAC tax compliance, data analysis, tax calculations, and reconciliation to support regional tax filings, audits, and statutory requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
- 4-7 years accounting experience with direct and indirect tax exposure
- Big 4 or equivalent accounting and taxation background preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- APAC region experience is advantageous
What you'll be doing
- Prepare monthly tax calculations for APAC entities using SAP data extraction and financial reconciliation
- Manage tax audit documentation, inquiries, and notices from tax authorities
- Conduct financial data analysis and prepare tax reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Support month-end and statutory audit activities including tax provision calculations
- Identify and implement process optimization opportunities within tax workflows and automation initiatives
