Role summary
This role manages material inventory and supply planning for contract manufacturers across medical device product lines in a high-mix, low-volume environment. The position requires independently executing purchasing activities, coordinating production schedules with cross-functional teams, and resolving supply exceptions to meet business metrics. A bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant supply chain experience, strong Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems proficiency, and preferably SAP knowledge are required.

- Bachelor's degree with 4 years supply planning, purchasing, logistics, or operations experience
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Windows operating systems
- High proficiency with MRP/SCM/ERP systems; SAP and SAP APO knowledge preferred
- Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Logistics degree preferred
- Six Sigma, APICS, ISM, CPIM, CIRM, or CPSM certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and business acumen
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work independently under pressure
What you'll be doing
- Manage material inventory levels for assigned contract manufacturers and product lines
- Execute supply planning and purchasing for high-mix-low-volume medical device products
- Coordinate with demand planning and contract manufacturers to develop production schedules
- Identify and resolve supply exceptions through purchase order expediting and priority adjustments
- Monitor demand fluctuations, forecast changes, and supply risks; manage ECR/ECO activities
