What you'll be doing
- Accession, identify, sort, label, store, and ship clinical specimens with complete traceability
- Investigate accessioning errors, identify problems, and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Maintain freezers, specimen inventory, equipment records, and notify staff of supply shortages
- Guide entry-level employees on departmental procedures and support new staff onboarding
- Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders and support after-hours operations when needed
