Role summary

Senior specialist in instrumentation and control engineering supporting central utilities operations at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years control systems, I&C, or automation design and operations experience in power, utilities, chemical, pharmaceutical, or similar industries
Strong automation and technical troubleshooting capabilities
Knowledge of environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance (OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, ISA, ISO)
Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and adapt to changing priorities
Experience creating and documenting standard operating procedures for standardization
PE, EIT, or CAP certification preferred; experience with Allen Bradley, Inductive Automation Ignition, or similar platforms preferred

What you'll be doing

Serve as primary technical owner of chiller plant control systems and supporting process instrumentation
Provide engineering support for maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Central Utilities instrumentation and control systems
Manage expense and capital project portfolio and budget for I&C-related initiatives; oversee management of change
Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis for control system issues; ensure timely corrective action follow-up
Champion alarm management, cybersecurity programs, and interface with union technicians and internal/external partners
