Role summary
Veracyte seeks a Senior Patient Financial Navigation Specialist to guide patients through insurance benefits, payment options, and financial assistance while collaborating with internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve operational efficiency. The remote role, based on the East Coast, operates Monday–Friday, 11:30am–8pm ET.

- Associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field (preferred)
- Strong ability to interpret insurance benefits and navigate payor systems
- Demonstrated excellence in patient-facing financial guidance and problem resolution
What you'll be doing
- Provide expert guidance to patients on insurance coverage, billing, and financial assistance programs
- Collaborate with billing, commercial, and customer service teams to streamline communication and resolve escalated issues
- Mentor junior navigators and contribute to training program development and best practices
- Analyze trends in patient financial concerns and recommend process improvements and policy changes
- Navigate payor portals and systems to verify eligibility, prior authorizations, claim status, and appeals information
