Role summary
AstraZeneca seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison for cell therapy in the Mid-Atlantic region (DC and Raleigh/Durham). The role involves building medical strategy, educating healthcare providers, and serving as a scientific advisor for cell therapy assets focused on multiple myeloma.

- 40-60% domestic travel capability by car, train, and plane
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain scientific relationships with hematology and cell therapy thought leaders across assigned territory
- Engage in scientific exchanges with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including hematologists, oncologists, pharmacists, and nursing staff
- Educate cell therapy provider teams on disease state, CAR-T mechanism, safety, and clinical management
- Gather and synthesize site-level insights to inform medical affairs strategy and address unmet needs
- Support implementation of cell therapy infusions and collaborate on disease state initiatives and investigator-sponsored research
