Role summary
ICON seeks a Senior Tax Manager for its Dublin headquarters to oversee complex global tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory support for a leading healthcare research organization's international operations.
What they're looking for
- Qualified Accountant with AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) credential
- 8+ years post-qualification experience in dedicated tax roles
- Big 4 practice and/or multinational PLC/MNC background
- Deep expertise in corporate tax, indirect tax, and international tax matters
- Transfer pricing knowledge and strong VAT experience
- Experience mentoring tax professionals in multinational environments
- Bachelor's degree or higher
What you'll be doing
- Lead tax strategy and oversight for Irish and international entity portfolios
- Manage tax compliance, audits, and controversy matters across multiple jurisdictions
- Identify and implement tax planning opportunities aligned with business objectives
- Advise senior leadership on corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and withholding tax matters
- Oversee R&D tax credit claims and support acquisitions and restructurings from tax perspective
