Role summary
Senior Manager leading lifecycle management initiatives for Edwards Lifesciences' structural heart product portfolios. Will oversee large-scale programs spanning manufacturing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and engineering across commercialized and development-stage products to ensure global compliance, continuity, and uninterrupted patient supply.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or manufacturing engineering
- 10+ years providing technical engineering support in medical device manufacturing
- Demonstrated track record commercializing and sustaining medical devices
- Experience in supply chain, suppliers, manufacturing, and/or distribution
- Proven ability leading cross-functional teams without direct line authority
- Lean Six Sigma Belt certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of design control for Class II & III medical devices
What you'll be doing
- Lead enterprise-wide programs and initiatives for global supply continuity of commercial and development-stage products
- Direct cross-functional collaboration between R&D, marketing, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align objectives and manage product lifecycle changes
- Provide engineering expertise and business excellence methodologies to resolve manufacturing issues and maintain quality standards
- Conduct manufacturing readiness reviews and risk assessments before major operational changes and product transfers
- Oversee supplier integration and product transfers into Edwards facilities and external manufacturers, tracking progress against key business metrics
