Role summary
Pacific Biosciences seeks a Senior Manager for IT Operations to lead end-user support, infrastructure management, vendor relations, and change control across the organization. This hands-on role owns the operational core of IT, spanning help desk, networks, data centers, cloud services, and compliance-driven change management in a regulated biotech environment.

- Own infrastructure reliability, capacity planning, and lifecycle management for networks, servers, and cloud services
- Lead IT vendor portfolio sourcing, evaluation, contracting, and performance management
- Chair change advisory board and enforce change management for regulated systems and audit compliance
- Establish IT project portfolio intake, prioritization, and executive status reporting mechanisms
