Role summary
Senior Messaging Specialist position within Danaher's Corporate IT team responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining Microsoft Exchange and Proofpoint solutions supporting over 100,000 mailboxes globally. The role involves leading migrations, optimizing messaging infrastructure, and providing expert-level technical guidance to junior teams.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
- 5+ years of experience architecting and maintaining Microsoft messaging solutions
- In-depth knowledge of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for Exchange and Microsoft 365 administration
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Compliance Center, Proofpoint, and email encryption solutions
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
What you'll be doing
- Lead architecture, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange Online and hybrid environments
- Manage, configure, and optimize Proofpoint solutions including Email Protection, TAP, and DLP policies
- Serve as subject matter expert for email routing, delivery troubleshooting, and message trace analysis
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting, and system administration
- Provide Tier 3 support and technical guidance to junior engineers and IT support teams
