Role summary
Senior Labor & Employee Relations Manager role supporting Diagnostics Operating Companies across France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Shapes labor relations strategy, leads complex employee matters, manages collective negotiations, and builds scalable HR capability across multiple jurisdictions.
What they're looking for
- French Bachelor's Law degree, J.D., or master's in human resources or related field
- 12+ years progressive experience in labor relations, employee relations, or employment law
- Expertise in French employment law, collective labor frameworks, and restructuring obligations
- Experience leading complex employee relations cases and workforce reductions across multinational environments
- Demonstrated experience developing negotiation strategy with works councils and trade unions
- Ability to travel up to 25% to support assigned sites and business activities
What you'll be doing
- Shape and lead labor and employee relations strategy across assigned Diagnostics Operating Companies
- Lead complex employee relations matters including investigations, performance issues, grievances, and terminations
- Manage information, consultation, and collective negotiation processes with works councils and trade unions
- Provide senior leadership for workforce reductions, restructurings, reorganizations, and site transformations
- Build scalable capability across the Diagnostics Platform through governance, policies, and standard work
