Role summary
Merit Medical seeks a Senior IT Internal Auditor to execute complex IT and integrated audits, evaluating internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across global operations. - Bachelor's degree in information systems, cybersecurity, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum eight years of auditing, accounting, or systems-related work experience
- Enterprise-level expertise in IT audit, risk management, and governance
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, GRC applications, and audit software
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- CIA, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent relevant certification preferred
- Experience in global manufacturing environment highly desirable
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and enhance IT control structures and procedures
- Support development and execution of annual risk-based audit plans
- Plan, perform, and oversee IT audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Oversee remediation of IT and system audit issues and track resolution
- Represent IT Internal Audit function in cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects
