Role summary
Moderna seeks a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design and optimize automation solutions across cloud, hybrid, and network infrastructure. - 7+ years in infrastructure automation, cloud operations, network automation, or platform engineering
- Deep hands-on experience with Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Experience leading automation across AWS, Azure, on-premises, or hybrid environments
- Strong scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages
- Understanding of Linux/Windows systems, networking fundamentals, APIs, source control, and operational security
What you'll be doing
- Lead design, operation, and support of enterprise automation using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform
- Build reusable automation workflows for cloud, on-premises, and network infrastructure operations
- Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, Bicep, and Ansible
- Create and support network automation for configuration, validation, compliance, and change execution
- Define logging, reporting, and alerting for automation workflows; mentor engineers on standards and practices
