Role summary
Catalent seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to maintain and repair bioprocess equipment at its FDA-licensed gene therapy manufacturing facility in Maryland. - Cleanroom or FDA-regulated industry experience required
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance capabilities
- Automation and controls operation, repair, and maintenance preferred
- Ability to lift 40 lbs, work on ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and computer skills; strong written and verbal communication
What you'll be doing
- Troubleshoot and repair bioprocess equipment including fermenters, bioreactors, centrifuges, and chromatography systems
- Execute preventive maintenance programs and manage work orders within CMMS
- Develop and update engineering documentation, job aids, and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors on equipment maintenance, calibrations, and repairs
- Analyze equipment failures and develop engineering solutions for continuous improvement initiatives
Compensation$38.46 - $52.88 hourly plus shift differential and annual bonus, when eligible
