Role summary
Senior Director leading clinical research strategy and execution for atherosclerosis medicines across all development phases at Merck. Oversees late-stage clinical trials from design through regulatory reporting, managing cross-functional teams and external collaborations.

- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree
- Minimum 3 years clinical medicine experience
- 3-5 years industry drug development or academic biomedical research experience
- Demonstrated success overseeing Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical studies
- Proven track record in clinical medicine with strong scientific scholarship
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities
- Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, or related discipline (preferred)
