Role summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director of Bioanalysis to lead bioanalytical strategy and oversight across clinical and nonclinical development programs for MASH therapeutics. 15+ years of experience in bioanalytical sciences and drug development
Comprehensive LC-MS/MS expertise for quantitative bioanalysis in biological matrices
Deep knowledge of bioanalytical assay development, validation, and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, ICH guidelines)
Proven leadership managing CRO partnerships and outsourced bioanalytical activities
Experience supporting both clinical and nonclinical development programs
Familiarity with hybridization assays, ligand binding assays, and immunoassays strongly preferred

What you'll be doing

Define and implement bioanalytical strategies across portfolio programs through external partnerships
Select, manage, and evaluate CRO partners for quality, timeline, and budget performance
Oversee assay development, qualification, validation, and sample analysis by external partners
Develop bioanalytical strategies for multiple modalities including small molecules, siRNA, and emerging platforms
Review and approve bioanalytical documentation ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity
