Role summary
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a cybersecurity architect to strengthen product security across the diagnostic lifecycle. Based in Bangalore, this role involves threat modeling, vulnerability management, compliance documentation, and security implementation for medical device products serving global clinical laboratories.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information security, or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, vulnerability assessment
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, secure coding, and CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of authentication, encryption, OWASP Top 10, secure coding principles
- Basic scripting knowledge and exposure to AI tools
- Medical device or regulated technology experience preferred
- DevSecOps or Agile environment experience preferred
What you'll be doing
- Identify and track security risks throughout product lifecycle; conduct threat modeling and security reviews
- Triage, prioritize, and manage vulnerability findings and support remediation efforts
- Generate and maintain Software Bills of Materials to support supply chain security
- Assist with Government Authority to Operate process and security documentation preparation
- Validate DoD STIG implementation through system hardening and compliance verification
