Role summary
Merck seeks a veterinary technician to support animal care and clinical services for laboratory and study animals. Responsibilities include health assessments, diagnostics, treatment support, pharmaceutical management, and coordination with internal teams and external veterinary services.

What you'll be doing
- Support veterinary team with colony and study animal care and documentation
- Conduct health checks, intake examinations, sampling, and routine veterinary assessments
- Assist with diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care of acute and chronic animal conditions
- Manage veterinary pharmacy inventory, medications, supplies, ordering, and record-keeping
- Collaborate with external veterinary clinics, diagnostic laboratories, and internal departments
