Role summary
Abbott seeks a Senior Application Analyst to lead Epic change management, environment strategy, and application lifecycle activities. The role coordinates changes across Epic environments, manages deployments, supports upgrades, and ensures system stability while mentoring junior analysts.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field; or high school diploma with 4 years relevant experience
- 5+ years experience developing or configuring technology solutions in application analyst or project delivery roles
- Subject matter expertise in patient identification, revenue cycle, CRM, MyChart, patient registration, or lab order entry
- Ability to obtain Epic software certification within 8 weeks of hire
- Strong analytical skills, business intuition, and organizational ability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in cross-functional environments
- On-call availability with potential for nights and weekends work
What you'll be doing
- Lead and facilitate Epic application change control processes ensuring regulatory compliance
- Partner with analysts, project teams, and technical staff to assess change impacts and implementation risks
- Troubleshoot complex Data Courier issues and provide guidance to analysts and project teams
- Coordinate environment management activities across development, testing, training, and production environments
- Mentor junior analysts, provide technical leadership, and act as delegate for incident resolution
