What you'll be doing
- Manage monthly close of assigned GL accounts including debt, royalties, derivatives, and lease accounting
- Prepare accounting close workpapers and analyses for accurate and timely expense and accrual recognition
- Review contracts and prepare journal entries with supporting documentation
- Reconcile GL accounts and prepare fluctuation analyses for assigned accounts
- Coordinate with business units on prepayment and accrual processes; prepare audit schedules and support SOX compliance
