Role summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Technical Project Lead to own technical delivery of laboratory informatics solutions in customer engagements. - Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, IS, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent
- 3-5 years enterprise software technical implementation experience in life sciences
- Laboratory informatics expertise (ELN, LIMS, SDMS, CDS, instrument integration)
- Relational database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres) and programming (C#, VGL)
- Understanding of SDLC, quality, and IT validation processes for regulated systems
- Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, and collaborative skills
What you'll be doing
- Lead technical design, architecture, configuration, and implementation of digital science products for customers
- Serve as primary technical contact for customers, conducting scoping and design workshops
- Partner with Solutions Architects and Project Managers to plan delivery and oversee technical work allocation
- Contribute to pre- and post-sales deliverables including specifications, testing plans, and documentation
- Mentor technical personnel and engage support and product teams to resolve technical issues
