Role summary
Stryker seeks an Orthopaedic Instruments Sales Representative to drive business growth by selling medical devices and surgical products across an assigned territory in Iowa City. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of outside/B2B sales or territory management experience
- 2+ years medical device, healthcare, or B2B outside sales with quota responsibility (preferred)
- Proven track record of quota attainment, revenue growth, or territory expansion (preferred)
- Experience selling to hospitals, physicians, healthcare systems, or B2B capital markets (preferred)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve and exceed quota targets
- Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, OR staff, supply chain, and hospital administrators
- Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, and trials in clinical and operating room settings
- Lead product launches, conversions, implementations, and deliver staff training on product use
- Analyze territory performance, track sales metrics, and report results to leadership
