Role summary

Research Associate II supports development and optimization of molecular diagnostic products and reagents through laboratory procedures involving cellular and molecular biology techniques. The role independently executes experiments, maintains documentation, analyzes data, and collaborates with cross-functional teams on product development within established timelines.

Hands-on experience with DNA/RNA purification, PCR variants, and electrophoresis techniques
Demonstrated proficiency with aseptic techniques in laboratory settings
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills across multiple formats for internal teams
Experience with mammalian cell culture and viral cultures (desired)
GMP environment experience and ISO13485 quality management system knowledge (desired)

What you'll be doing

Perform molecular techniques including nucleic acid purification, gel electrophoresis, RNA transcription, and cell culture
Conduct nucleic acid analysis using real-time and digital PCR; analyze and interpret results
Execute experiments and manufacturing procedures according to established SOPs and timelines
Maintain accurate documentation, test records, and laboratory notebooks in compliance with GLP/GMP requirements
Maintain laboratory equipment, monitor parameters, manage inventory, and support continuous improvement initiatives

Compensation$27.00-$41.00 USD per hour
