Role summary
Fortrea seeks a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, supplier management, and supply chain operations for its Clinical Pharmacology Services business in Austin. The role will establish core procurement capabilities and inventory processes, expanding toward strategic sourcing and supplier performance management as operations mature.

- 5+ years procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, inventory, or operations experience
- Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing supplier relationships
- Experience with inventory, purchasing, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience with procurement, ERP, or inventory management systems
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts
- Establish and oversee inventory management procedures supporting laboratory operations
- Manage purchasing, receiving, replenishment, and fulfillment processes
- Develop scalable workflows, controls, and governance processes for procurement and supply chain
- Serve as subject matter expert for system implementation and process improvement initiatives
