Role summary
iRhythm seeks a Principal System Architect to define and govern software architecture across device firmware, cloud services, and digital platforms. This senior individual contributor will drive architectural strategy, technical standards, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure scalable, compliant, and patient-focused cardiac health solutions.

- Establish architectural principles, reference architectures, and governance processes across R&D teams
- Lead cross-functional architecture forums and review high-impact design decisions and platform changes
- Partner with product, security, regulatory, and clinical teams to ensure medical device compliance and systems integration
- Mentor engineering leads and architects while driving technical investigations of complex systemic issues
