Role summary

Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes division seeks a Principal Security Architect to design and strengthen enterprise security architecture across cloud, network, endpoint, and operational technology environments. This technical leadership role advances Zero Trust and Secure by Design strategies while embedding security into all technology platforms and transformation initiatives.

What they're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related technical field
8+ years information security experience with demonstrated security architecture and controls expertise
Hands-on vulnerability and exposure management, assessment, and remediation experience
Strong network security knowledge including segmentation, firewalls, and zero-trust architecture
Endpoint protection and device security design experience (EDR/XDR, hardening)
Cloud security experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP including secure configuration and workload protection
Working knowledge of application and data security principles and secure software development lifecycle

What you'll be doing

Lead development of Secure by Design, Resilient by Design, and Zero Trust architectures across multiple environments
Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for new and existing solutions
Design network segmentation and micro-segmentation architectures to protect critical assets and reduce lateral movement
Develop resilient security architectures strengthening containment, recovery, and business continuity capabilities
Mentor security architects and engineers while fostering engineering excellence and continuous improvement culture
