Role summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks a Principal Identity Governance and Administration leader to architect, design, and operate enterprise IAM solutions across a global regulated environment. This hands-on technical role reports to the Senior Director of IAM and involves modernizing authentication systems, standardizing lifecycle processes, and strengthening governance across the organization.

8+ years progressive IAM, security engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience
Deep expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, Active Directory, and PowerShell
Hands-on knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, LDAP, and SCIM protocols
Experience implementing enterprise IGA tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta
SQL or relational database experience for reporting and reconciliation
Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Prior experience providing technical direction and leading engineering execution

What you'll be doing

Architect and implement enterprise IAM solutions for workforce, privileged, service, and application identities
Design and support hybrid identity solutions spanning Active Directory, Azure, Entra ID, and cloud platforms
Lead hands-on engineering and automation efforts using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and REST APIs
Develop IAM integration patterns for enterprise applications using standard identity protocols
Support design and implementation of RBAC, least privilege access, and lifecycle management processes
