Role summary
Amgen seeks a Principal Business Analyst to lead the global serialization domain within its supply chain organization. The role involves designing and implementing SAP-based track-and-trace solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and bridging technical and business requirements across geographically distributed teams.
What they're looking for
- Master's degree with 8–10 years experience in business, engineering, or IT; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years hands-on experience with SAP ATTP, SAP ICH, and serialization systems
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP (ECC/S4), SAP EWM, and supply chain integration practices
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical serialization regulations (DSCSA, EU FMD, Brazil ANVISA)
- Proven experience as business analyst or client-facing IT leader in regulated (GxP) environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
- SAFe Agile Practitioner certification (preferred)
What you'll be doing
- Lead design, configuration, and support of SAP ATTP, SAP ICH, and related serialization systems
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for traceability solutions
- Oversee end-to-end serialization implementation including ERP, manufacturing, and partner system integration
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to maintain product backlog priorities
- Serve as primary contact for business stakeholders, providing thought leadership and compliance guidance
