Role summary

Principal Architect leading design of scalable, secure data and analytics solutions across enterprise programs. Partners with engineering, product, governance, and security teams to establish architecture standards, reference patterns, and implementation roadmaps. Mentors architects and engineers while evaluating emerging technologies and resolving complex technical challenges.

What they're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 8 years in data engineering, solution architecture, or technical design with architecture ownership
Experience architecting large-scale enterprise data platforms and integration solutions
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, data modeling, Databricks or equivalent Lakehouse platform
Demonstrated ability to guide implementation teams through complex technical challenges
Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
Cloud architecture or TOGAF certification preferred

What you'll be doing

Define architecture direction, standards, reference patterns, and reusable components for data solutions
Own architecture diagrams, technical designs, data models, and architecture decision records
Develop proofs of concept and reference implementations that accelerate delivery and reduce technical debt
Conduct architecture and code reviews assessing scalability, performance, security, and reliability
Mentor engineers and architects through solution design, implementation planning, and technical evaluations
