Role summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Business System Specialist III to lead continuous improvement initiatives at the Zaventem site. This role drives implementation of the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System through lean methodologies, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance quality, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Excellent written, oral, and presentation communication skills
Knowledge of multi-functional processes and financial business methods

What you'll be doing

Lead Kaizen events and PPI projects to identify root causes and implement sustainable countermeasures
Educate site employees on PPI methodologies through training, mentoring, and project work
Develop and drive continuous improvement culture across customer, finance, people, and quality metrics
Support site PPI steering committee and identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and lean tools
Collaborate with operations and support functions to ensure implementation of solutions and track results
