Role summary
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Issaquah, Washington patient service center. The role involves collecting blood specimens from patients of all ages, processing samples, managing patient information, and providing customer service. Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:30pm with rotating Saturdays.
What they're looking for
- Washington State phlebotomy license (MA-P) or filed application at hire
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 6 or more months phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- Capability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
What you'll be doing
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing and payments
- Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Compensation$21.87 to $32.28 per hour
