Role summary
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Amarillo, Texas location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service in a clinical setting. The role operates Monday–Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–12pm, with potential overtime and weekend hours as needed.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical or hospital environment (preferred)
- 1+ year experience with diverse patient populations from pediatric to geriatric (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
What you'll be doing
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostics
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Process billing and collect payments from patients
- Prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
