Role summary

ICON seeks an experienced Pharmacometrics Support Programmer to develop and quality-control NONMEM PK/PD datasets for drug development programmes. The role requires strong R programming skills, expertise in SDTM/ADaM standards, and minimum six years' pharmaceutical industry experience. You will collaborate across global teams to deliver submission-ready pharmacometric data and support regulatory compliance.

  • Minimum 6 years pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry experience
  • Strong R programming expertise
  • Experience developing and quality controlling NONMEM PK/PD datasets
  • Working knowledge of PK/PD principles and pharmacometric workflows
  • Understanding of SDTM, ADaM, and CDISC standards with controlled terminology
  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and quality control NONMEM PK/PD datasets from SDTM and ADaM data sources
  • Support pharmacometric modelling by delivering accurate, submission-ready datasets
  • Review quality of internally and externally produced NONMEM datasets
  • Collaborate across Data Management, Statistical Programming, Statistics, and Bioanalytical teams
  • Develop and maintain testing frameworks and validation processes for departmental R tools
