Role summary
Amgen seeks a Patient Access Liaison to support patients and healthcare providers in navigating insurance coverage and reimbursement for therapies in the Boise, Idaho and Montana region. - Master's degree with 2+ years relevant patient services experience

- Experience with buy-and-bill or infused pharmaceutical therapies preferred
- Rare disease or orphan drug background preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy requirements and compliance guidelines
- Clinical background such as nursing preferred
What you'll be doing
- Assist patients, caregivers, and providers with insurance benefits and prior authorization navigation
- Identify and resolve access challenges including coverage denials and authorization barriers
- Educate physician offices and infusion centers on reimbursement processes and coding considerations
- Investigate patient access issues and escalate complex reimbursement problems to internal teams
- Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Case Management to support patient access initiatives
