Role summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Operational Bidding Specialist to develop and manage clinical trial proposal budgets in support of financial and business objectives. - 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and training
- Advanced knowledge of clinical trial proposal processes and budget management
- Expert knowledge of ICH and global regulatory guidelines
- In-depth understanding of unitized grids, unit costs, and unit drivers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with strong mathematical skills
- Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal
What you'll be doing
- Evaluate RFPs and participate in bidding calls to determine efficient and effective budgets
- Liaise with business development, contracts, proposals, and operations teams on proposal strategy alignment
- Consult with internal subject matter experts to determine labor requirements and confirm client-specific bidding standards
- Review client grids and proposal text to ensure accuracy and alignment of assumptions with budget
- Prepare and revise proposals for studies across all phases and complexity levels
