Role summary
Avantor seeks an experienced Senior Coordinator for Inventory Services at its Branford, Connecticut facility. The role involves overseeing consumables, chemicals, and materials; maintaining accurate inventory records; and serving as the primary contact for inventory-related inquiries across multiple customer accounts in life sciences industries.

What you'll be doing
- Oversee consumables, chemicals, samples, and materials; maintain accurate inventory records and process requests for inventory movement
- Monitor slow-moving inventory, conduct cycle counts, support annual physical inventories, and generate inventory reports
- Manage inbound package delivery, track expiration dates and lot numbers, and ensure GMP-compliant documentation
- Coordinate outbound shipments including hazardous materials and communicate with customers, purchasing, and facility directors
- Process orders, manage backorders, handle quote and document control, and resolve pricing discrepancies using SAP, Citrix, and inventory management systems
Compensation$25.00 - $27.00 hourly
