Role summary
Field-based OnSite Specialist role supporting surgical procedures at a Chicago-area hospital on third shift. Manages medical equipment, provides clinical support in the operating room, and maintains account credentialing and compliance.

- Associate's degree or equivalent certifications preferred
- Operating room experience with knowledge of anatomy and surgical procedures preferred
- CRCST certification within 6 months for Sterile Processing Department positions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently in high-stress environments
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, on-call coverage, and travel as needed
What you'll be doing
- Manage surgical equipment and anticipate device needs during operating room procedures
- Troubleshoot and maintain Stryker and related medical equipment
- Record and report surgical procedure data and performance metrics monthly
- Collaborate with surgeons, OR staff, biomedical teams, and other hospital personnel
- Maintain vendor credentialing and account information to ensure compliance and service continuity
Compensation$23.74 - $32.12 USD hourly
