Role summary
AstraZeneca seeks an Oncology Scientific Partnership Medical Director for the Mid-Atlantic region to develop and execute medical strategies at priority health systems and networks. This field-based role partners across multiple functional areas to advance oncology initiatives and serve as the primary medical contact for key accounts.

- Strategic influencing and matrix leadership capabilities
- Understanding of US healthcare landscape, regulatory, and compliance requirements
- Existing peer-level key external expert relationships
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute US Oncology Medical Affairs strategy at assigned health systems focused on innovation
- Serve as medical partner to account directors for priority health systems, O-GPOs, oncology networks, and pathways
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders including SM&M, HEOR, RWE, MSLs, and R&D
- Coordinate medical and scientific resources to address decision-maker needs within assigned health systems
- Act as primary medical contact and single point of contact for leadership communications at assigned accounts
Compensation$212,673.60 - $319,010.40 USD base annual pay
