Role summary
Neurocrine Biosciences seeks an Account Specialist to drive product adoption and sales growth in a assigned neuropsychiatry territory. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field
- Minimum 4 years commercial pharma/biotech experience; 3+ years specialty pharmaceutical, psychology, or neurology sales strongly desired
- Close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution experience strongly preferred
- Psychiatry, neurology, or antipsychotic experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Veeva, or similar business systems and BI tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Reside within assigned geographic territory
What you'll be doing
- Drive product adoption through targeted education and strategic account management in assigned territory
- Execute territory sales strategies via in-person and virtual engagement to meet objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders, payers, and pharmacies
- Identify territory-specific opportunities and barriers; manage promotional resources and budgets
- Collaborate with internal teams on managed care, marketing, patient access, and medical affairs initiatives
