Role summary
This part-time clinical consultant role supports cardiac patients and healthcare providers across South Louisiana and Northeast Texas through medical device education and case management in ICU, operating room, and catheterization lab settings. The position requires an RN, APP, perfusionist, or cardiovascular specialist with 3+ years of cardiac care experience and documented ventricular device expertise, with a minimum monthly commitment of 5 days including weekend availability.

- Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Provider license, or relevant clinical experience
- 3+ years cardiac ICU, cardiovascular ICU, cardiac OR, or catheterization lab experience
- Minimum 10 cases or patients supported with ventricular medical devices
- Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and weekdays as scheduled
- Hospital vendor credentialing clearance capability
- Current immunizations as required by hospitals
What you'll be doing
- Deliver ventricular medical device education in ICU, OR, and catheterization lab settings
- Provide case support and on-call support for ventricular medical device patients
- Conduct proactive patient rounds and provide clinical assistance
- Maintain product knowledge and clinical competency through ongoing education
- Collaborate with Clinical Support Center for additional patient support needs
