Role summary
This part-time clinical consultant role in Naples, Florida involves delivering ventricular medical device education and case support across clinical settings such as ICUs, operating rooms, and catheterization labs. What they're looking for
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license strongly preferred
- 3+ years clinical experience in cardiac ICU, cardiovascular ICU, cardiac OR, or catheterization lab
- Minimum 10 cases or patients supported with ventricular medical devices
- Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and weekdays as scheduled
- Hospital vendor credentialing clearance and current immunizations
- Perfusionist or cardiovascular specialist background preferred
What you'll be doing
- Provide ventricular medical device education across ICU, OR, and catheterization lab settings
- Deliver case support and on-call support for ventricular medical device patients
- Complete proactive patient rounds and assist patients receiving device support
- Develop product and therapy knowledge and maintain clinical competency through ongoing education
- Collaborate with Clinical Support Center for additional patient support as needed
