Role summary
This part-time clinical consultant position supports ventricular medical device cases across cardiac settings in Kansas City. The role involves patient education, case support, and clinical collaboration with existing and new accounts. Candidates need RN or APP licensure with 3+ years of cardiac ICU/OR experience and demonstrated expertise with ventricular devices, plus monthly on-call availability including one weekend.

- Minimum 10 cases or patients supported with ventricular medical devices
- Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and at multiple hospital locations
- Current immunizations and ability to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements
- Minimum 2 days per month field availability with 5 total days monthly commitment
What you'll be doing
- Deliver ventricular medical device education across ICU, OR, and catheterization lab settings
- Provide on-call case support and patient management for assigned client accounts
- Conduct proactive patient rounds and clinical competency maintenance through continuing education
- Collaborate with Clinical Support Center for additional patient support as needed
