Role summary
IQVIA seeks a part-time clinical consultant to provide case support, patient education, and management for ventricular medical devices across cardiac care settings in the San Antonio area. This role requires clinical expertise and flexible availability including weekends and on-call support.
What they're looking for
- Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Provider license strongly preferred
- 3+ years clinical experience in cardiac ICU, cardiovascular ICU, OR, or catheterization lab
- Minimum 10 cases/patients supported with ventricular medical devices
- Minimum 2 days per month in-field availability, 5 days total monthly including 1 weekend
- Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
What you'll be doing
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of products, therapies, and clinical applications
- Deliver ventricular medical device education in ICU, OR, and catheterization lab settings
- Provide on-call case support and complete proactive patient rounds
- Collaborate with Clinical Support Center for additional patient support as needed
- Maintain clinical competency through continuous learning and education
Compensation$60.00 per hour
