Role summary
IQVIA seeks a part-time clinical consultant to support ventricular medical device cases and provide patient education across cardiac care settings in Albany, NY. The role involves case support, patient management, and clinical collaboration with an assigned client region.
What they're looking for
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Provider (APP) license strongly preferred
- 3+ years clinical experience in cardiac ICU, cardiovascular ICU, cardiac OR, or catheterization lab
- Minimum 10 cases/patients supported with ventricular medical devices
- Ability to work minimum 2 days monthly in field, including 1 weekend per month
- Capable of working weekends, nights, holidays, and at multiple hospital locations
- Ability to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements and maintain current immunizations
What you'll be doing
- Deliver ventricular medical device education in ICU, OR, and catheterization lab settings
- Provide case support and on-call assistance for ventricular medical device implementations
- Conduct proactive patient rounds and document clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with Clinical Support Center for escalated patient support needs
- Maintain clinical competency through ongoing education on product and patient management
Compensation$60.00 per hour
