Role summary
Field-based medical science liaison supporting AstraZeneca's immunology pipeline across rheumatology and gastroenterology. What they're looking for
- Advanced degree in scientific discipline (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, NP, or PA-C)
- Minimum 2 years field medical experience (MSL or Clinical Trial Liaison) or clinical trial research
- Demonstrated excellence in scientific communication across diverse audiences
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment
- Ability to travel 50–70% of the time
- Experience in rheumatology, gastroenterology, or neurology preferred
- GCP/ICH familiarity and clinical trial site logistics experience preferred
What you'll be doing
- Deliver scientific and medical exchange on cell therapy, T cell engagers, and immunomodulatory molecules
- Build non-promotional relationships with investigators and healthcare providers at study sites and scientific centers
- Map disease and investigator networks to identify new sites, referral pathways, and engagement opportunities
- Support trial feasibility by assessing patient populations, standard-of-care patterns, and competing trials
- Collaborate with R&D and site management to address enrollment barriers and investigator site issues
